I thought it was about time I caught up with some of the latest releases in the world of computer gaming and let you know what I thought.
We start with Richard Madeleys International Nose-Bleed Championship Manager 2007.
Stunning visuals are the hallmark of this game. Actual Screen shot (Spectrum 48k)
This is the latest release in a long line of nose-bleed simulators, but this one has a difference. It utilises the new Spectrum 2-D graphics card and boasts 5 different colours, making it one of the most stunning Spectrum titles. It is also endorsed by universally hated ‘This Morning’ presenter, Richard Madeley. Commentary is provided by Nose-bleed stalwart and ER star George Clooney. This is a welcome addition to any serious Nose-bleed fanatic, but the casual gamer should stick to Nasal-Discharge ’07. 72%
Next up is the sequel to last years surprise hit Office Molester, with Office Molester 2 – See You In Court. It’s unusual for a sequel to better the original but this is a corking RPG. Similar to the first in many respects, it is strengthened by the additonal court room levels. Can you beat the rap? Unless you’re an experienced gamer, it’s unlikely. Still one of the best games of this year. 95%
Finally is one of the most eagerly anticipated games ever, Shoot My Face.
Completing the first level is as simple as this. Actual Screen Shot (Dragon 32).
This is a very diasppointing game indeed. What promised to be a frantic shoot-em-up is a dull affair with poor graphics and a bad storyline. Avoid this like a bad thing. 25%

I have a spectrum. Lord, I’m married to a spectrum. This causes fracas in the bedroom when all he keeps saying is load “” when I’m hoping for sweet nothings. At best, I might 10 BEEP 4
20 BEEP 10
RUN
and then get some sort of stylophone dirge.
Much like loading a game, the ‘dubious act’ itself takes, hours, if not days, and is extremely noisy.
The noise is simply part of the joy for ‘classic gamers’. I’ve got an MP3 of Manic Miner loading, on my Ipod.
