I thought it was about time I provided an update on our current stories and investigations for the benefit of all the regular Sherby57 readers (Hi Ant!).
In the report about the Burscough Spud Factory Conspiracy (Where Do Spuds Come From?) there was a comment left very quickly by someone called “BurscoughBoy”, who had this to say:
“Just leave it.. there’s nothing going on, nothing to worry about.”
Hmmm, methinks the lady doth protest too much. I’d say that BurscoughBoy definitely has something to hide and that it pretty much confirms that the IS a conspiracy. Further evidence was added by “The Speak Man” who added:
“I have witnessed first hand the denial that surrounds the Potato Factory conspiracy. I too know of a man from Burscough who denies ever working in a Potato Factory or ever being nicknamed Spud. I also have two pieces of evidence to prove this is a bare faced lie:
1. He is named in a song that states the words “he comes from burscough and he makes potato”. Why would a song state this fact if not true!!
2. Although denying his nickname he has been heard being called “Spud” on several occasions by Mr Ruson who knows and sees everything!!!
This conspiracy is getting out of hand – this is starting to get more complex than the “Our Mike slashed me couch” scandal of 2006!”
Disturbing stuff indeed. I think the Sherby57 team may have to pay Burscough a visit.
On more general matters “The Speak Man” had this comment:
“Mr Sherby – obviously your investigatory skills are amazing. Please please please could you finally investigate and give an answer to the following question that has haunted my night times for the past three years – “why were phil and tony left out of the loop??” I think we all need to know and so we can all finally lay this one to rest!!”
Well Mr The Speak Man we aim to please and will be invesigating this matter shortly. I am awaiting confirmation on further details on “The Loop” incident before I can proceed. I also intend to try and get to the bottom of the whole Mike/Couch/Slash affair.
Our most sinsiter story so far regarded the infamous “Goot The Crow” (Goot Crow Industries and Global Influence). Apparently we rattled somebodys cage as the following comment was left by Goot Crow Industries Legal Team:
“It was a pleasure doing business with you. The take over went smoothly. We are currently debating whether to change the domain name to GootCrowIndustriesEatsSherby574Breakfast.co.uk. However it appears someone has pre-registered it. The legal team are now persuing the take over as well. To be updated……. “
Well despite the cocky attitude, Sherby57 is NOT for sale.. so forget the threats Mr Crow and lets talk turkey (not literally, lets discuss your businesses and stuff).
On the topic of GOOT, we have been advised of the following website http://crowindustries.com/. At this stage we cannot confirm whether they are related but we will keep digging.
Finally I have been asked “Who is Bob?”.. It seems surprising to me that there is anyone out there that is not aware of the legend of Mr Burley (He is Bob no more!). Please click the “Burley” link in Categories on the right hand side for all the latest updates of this man amongst men.
