Every day on the way in to work I used to see my favourite car in the world. Yes it was only a yellow Micra, but the magical part was what inside.
One day I felt I had to take some photos. Yes this is the actions of a stalker and a mentalist but I felt it necessary to preserve the memory for all time. And now I share these photos with the world. Please note that the crap angles are not due to me being arty but trying to take the pictures without anybody seeing me.
The first photo looks relatively normal. However we can start to make out some strange shapes on the dashboard and something hanging from the rear-view mirror. Let’s take a closer look.
Hmmm. There seem to be a few toys in there.
Question 1 – How many barbies does a dashboard need? I can count at least seven (not counting the teddy). I’ll be honest, my car works perfectly well with no dolls on the dashboard, so seven seems a little bit excessive. Also, how do they stay in place when driving? I guess there could be some Blue-Tak involved but still.
Question 2 - How do you drive this car without the ball of key-ring\teddies swings into the driver causing accidents? The ball of teddies is quite disturbing and looks like some kind of abbatoir for cuddly toys.
Let’s have a peek into the back of the car. Surely there won’t be more toys.
I’ll admit that the view through the back window is crap (I was trying to be inconspicuous so I didn’t exactly have a tripod with me). You can see the teddy in each window, keeping sentry over whatever passengers are brave enough to travel within. You can also make out the large mound of soft toys on the shelf at the back of the car. I’d hate to be sat in the back during an emergency stop. You could almost drown in toys.
Sadly the yellow Micra is no longer seen. For a while it transferred to a blue Micra (I assume it was a new car and not a re-spray) but the toy lady no longer parks there (Did I mention that the driver was a chinese lady?). With the toy-mobile no longer there then a special part of my day has disappeared too.
If you ever spot the car please let me know. I really miss how bonkers it was.

The car is back! Well its the Bluey-Purple Micra but its the same lady (I spotted her this morning) and its the same toys (although the barbies seems to have gone). Keep your eyes peeled!
