It’s seems to be all the rage these days to go on about Bullseye and how great\funny it was. Discussing the game show tends to generate comments such as:
“BFH – Ha ha Bus fare home. What’s all that about?”
“And then.. and then…they won a speedboat!! They live in Birmingham Ha ha”
“Super smashing great Ha ha”
“Lets have a look at what you could of won! ha ha”
“Iiiiiiiiiiin One.. a shit prize.. ha ha “
Etc.
Brilliant.
Can I just go on record to say that Bullseye was (and is) one of the worst television programmes ever and was the bane of my childhood Sunday afternoons. Back in those days we only had one television and for some reason my dad insisted on watching it every week. Of course I could have gone and read a book or played out instead of watching telly – but get real.
It’s not big or clever to act as if watching Bullseye was a cherished memory from your youth. It wasn’t. It was crap.

You forgot to say “stay out on the black and into the red, nothing in this game for two in a bed”.
I concur bullseye is poo with a very low production value to match the IQ of the contestants. However I would have liked to know how the contestants shared the prize of a caravan. May I suggest a time share arrangement? this would mean that all parties could spend quality time in the luxurious two bed caravan located at Robin Hood caravan park, Prestatyn. here they could also make good use of the 1.5 person speedboat, max speed 10 MPH with white leather seat with built in lager can holder and chipstick dispenser. A tub of vaseline is also advisable, to apply after you have eaten the chipsticks.
I would like to know your thoughts on another show now deemed to grace the halls of cooldom, blockbusters with bob holness, can I have a P please bob, can I have a E please bob, you get the picture!!!

3-2-1 was worse, surely?
I concede that 3-2-1 may well have been a worse show. However when people remember it they tend to say how bad it was. Which in a way makes me feel a bit sorry for it. It’s not so much that Bullseye was crap that riles me, it’s that people pretend it was good.
Then again, maybe they genuinely did like it, who am I to say? Just the thought of it makes me feel like I’m having a massive coronary though.
Yeah – I reckon Dusty Bin could of had Bowen in a fist fight though.
Now there is an idea for a reality show.. Celebrity 80′s Game Show Boxing…I give it 6 months before it’s on ITV.
Better still, Celebrity Children’s TV Presenter Ultimate Fighting.
