The World of Sherby57

Because I’m worth it

Post From The Past – February 2008

Here they are:

3. Roy Walker Spangled Banner - A beautiful Catchphrase based song.

2. Penis Frenzy - Lots of cock.

1. Crowfinger - It’s the lyrics, for the theme tune, of a spy film, about the Crow.

Sorry to be so brief, but I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. Laters.

Post From The Past – January 2008

A thankfully quiet month, here’s the rundown for January 2008.

4. Whoops Julius! - A wonderful song from my youth, that hardly anyone seems to remember. Thank goodness for George Jenkins comment, I almost started to think that I’d imagined the whole thing.

3. All The Best - People are such idiots about the whole New Year thing, and here I explain why/how.

2. Hans That Does Dishes - A quick catch-up with the recently crowned ‘Hero of The Year 2008‘, Hans Klaussner.  At this point, Hans was working in a restaurant and still looking for love.

1. Sherby57 Day Trip – Kayak The Amazon - This is just a wonderful day-trip package, and sadly I’ve had no takers.  The price of £4000 may seem a little on the steep side, but it’s not bad for what’s included. Please let me know if you are interested. Maybe we could go wake-boarding instead?

Keep on truckin’!

Uninspired – A Poem

Jukebox jukebox
Wah wah wah
Music music
Yeah yeah yeah
Spin that disc
Hit that note
Boogie on down
Blah blah blah
I’m bored with this poem now
What you going to do?
Going down the shops
Talking to a shoe
Etc etc etc
The end
Done and dusted
Dusted and done
Over and out
Honest
This is really it
This is the end
Are you still there?
No you hang up
No you
You hang up!
Oh
You’ve gone

MC Lizzy Duke

Yesterday, I wrote about my (imaginary) friend Brian and his love of “Straight Outta Swansea” by MC Lizzy Duke.  Overnight, I have been inundated with e-mails wanting to know more about this “banging whippet of a tune”.  I can exclusively reveal a link to the lyrics of the afore-mentioned song here.

Many thanks to my good friend Dr. Angel for this information.

Hot Shower – Fireheart Movie Rumour

News of the upcoming “Fireheart: The Movie” has been thin on the ground lately. The project was delayed severely with last years writer’s strike.  Now as we reach the end of the summer, new rumours have begun to trickle through the grapevine (metaphorically).

Apparently, director Stanley Giggleswick has been attempting to secure the rights to obscure 1970′s disco anthem “Hot Shower”.  The song, which reached number 74 in (ironically) 1973, was recorded by Widnes-based combo “The Wakeboarders”.  Lead singer, Neville Brothers, who now works as an anarchist\technomage, is thrilled that his biggest hit could be involved in such an eagerly anticipated film. “Leave me alone”, he told us when we asked him how he felt.

For those of you who don’t remember the song, here are the lyrics:

Can you feel the power?
As you wash yourself in the shower
With the water coming down
And the love is all around
In the shower (shower)

It’s my number one hobby
Rubbing soap all over my body
There’s not one one thing that I’d rather
Than my tummy covered in lather

Can you feel the power?
As you wash yourself in the shower
With the water coming down
And the love is all around
In the shower (shower)

That’s my favourite channel
Watching you with your flannel
Oooh how you scrub your fanny
And clean each nook and cranny

Chorus x2
